Research
I am a comparative political scientist who works primarily with quantitative methods. My research is roughly organized around two themes:
- Cyber security in autocratic states, at the intersection of authoritarian politics and international cyber security. My ongoing dissertation investigates the legal repression of digital rights in Africa.
- The dynamics of violent and nonviolent conflict, within the broader field of conflict studies.
